Garlic herb focaccia / Valkosipuliyrttifocaccia

Ingredients:
- ½ pkt dry yeast
- 3½ dl of warm water, 42C
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
- 7 dl flour
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 large cloves of garlic crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of pinch salt
Instructions:
Dissolve the yeast in warm water (hint: 42-degree water is good for dry yeast, it feels almost hot on the hand). Stir in the olive oil, salt and honey. Gradually add the flour, leaving the dough loose and not too dry. Let it rise covered for half an hour.
Pour and spread the dough on in a large baking dish greased with olive oil approx. 25 x 30 cm. Cover with a cloth and let rise for another half hour.
Bring the oven to 250 degrees. Mix the filling ingredients. Press holes on the raised bread with a floured finger and grease the bread with the olive oil mixture. If you like your focaccia very salty, sprinkle a little more finger salt on it.
Bake the bread for about 10 to 15 minutes until it is golden yellow. Lubricate immediately with olive oil, so the bread gets a good surface. Allow to cool slightly and cut into pieces, focaccia is good even when cold.

- ½ pkt kuivahiivaa (6 g)
- 3½ dl lämmintä vettä, 42C
- 3 rkl oliiviöljyä
- 1½ tl suolaa
- 1 rkl hunajaa tai sokeria
- 7 dl vehnäjauhoja
- 4 rkl oliiviöljyä
- 2 isoa valkosipulinkynttä murskattuna
- 1 tl kuivattua rosmariinia
- 1 tl kuivattua timjamia
- 1 tl sormisuolaa
